Very nice people there. Service was friendly and good, even though the place was full. The food tasted great, especially the homemade aioli with bread. The salad with the burgers also tasted great. I would visit again in a heartbeat, especially since the old town of Hattingen is really beautiful.

It was OK. Unfortunately, a moth came crawling out of the salad. That was a bit unsavory. We were offered a new salad, but otherwise there was hardly any reaction. We will probably prefer to dine elsewhere in the future.

Cafe Latte & Crepes went perfectly fine. The service was also very helpful and friendly. what is not possible are dirty tables that you are seated at and rather sticky menu. Especially in these times, you should show that you take hygiene seriously.

Today we had the breakfast buffet in Café Mexx quite spontaneously. The scope and design of the buffet was completely ok for € 8.20. However, nothing that others do not offer. I would really be happy if there were fresh bakery rolls at the buffet somewhere instead of baked frozen goods. The scrambled eggs were really good, freshly beaten egg instead of Tetrapack ready-made mass. The bacon seared briefly and was delicious. The selection of cheese, sausage, fruit, salad and muesli was very good. However, I find the enormous amount of garbage to be really annoying, for two reasons: On the one hand: where to put all the trash ??? Small table rubbish bins would actually be appropriate here, little effort, big effect. On the other hand, it is simply not up to date to offer everything individually packaged: butter, jam, honey, Nutella, even with coffee there were biscuits and sugar nicely packaged individually. At first I thought ok, Corona was to blame, but when asked I was confirmed that this is always the case. A real shame. Actually nothing bothered us about the ambience, but the table stands could be revised and the laminated corona notices and barrier tapes could be renewed in between. There is a little lack of attention to detail. What I absolutely have to highlight is the very friendly service. The young woman did everything absolutely right from start to finish today. Very friendly, very attentive, immediately helpful with questions. To you: Please continue like this! This is precisely what is so extremely important in order to feel good in the morning. And: It also contributes significantly to the acceptance of the price-performance ratio. Thanks for a nice breakfast!

For the second time breakfast buffet, great again. Nice, uncomplicated and totally attentive service, everything you need and more at the buffet, cozy atmosphere and a great price-performance ratio. Reservation recommended, works online without any problems. Gladly again.

Unfriendly staff who want to fool their guests. Has happened to me there so often in the recent past. Was a regular customer in the past, no weekend or girls' evening without the Cafe Mexx, but unfortunately nothing remains of the charm of bygone times. In addition to the deteriorating service, there are constant and disproportionate price increases. Everything is in no relation to each other and therefore unfortunately no longer recommended.

Very friendly service and a varied breakfast buffet even including prosecco and orange juice in the beautiful old town of Hating. We can only recommend a visit to Cafe Mexx and would be happy to come back.

Fair price for nice food, but pricy drinks, the go-to place if you are a teenager and want to go out with your friends for a special celebration or occasion. Went there a few times as a teenager. I've kind of out-grown it now, but it is still a pleasant small-town ambience! If I remember correctly, it is not suitable for wheelchair users (the rest rooms are upstairs and there are a few steps in the entrance, aswell). Besides that, nice café, bar and restaurant. Could use a non-smoking outdoor area, though.

Nice personel. We had our four hot drinks within five minutes. Very fast. The current safety distance is not really maintained outdoors.

Coffee and cake very tasty. Nice personel. Space a little tight. But there would have been enough space inside. So ... blame yourself.

Very well visited in the middle of the pedestrian area of ​​the old town. Food was delicious with a good selection. Every now and then drive extra for the cafe to Hattingen. A young team as an operator.
